About this MCC church: MCC Lubbock is a Christian church affiliated with the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, founded in 1968 by Rev. Elder Troy Perry in Los Angeles, CA. Our denomination started out as having a special mission to lesbian and gay communities. While we still have a special mission to the LGBTQI community, we joyfully welcome all people to join us in worship, church activities, leadership opportunities, and social justice activism. Membership is open to everyone.

Communion: We offer an open communion to “whosoever” seeks a relationship with Christ. John 3:16

Neighborliness: We meet the needs of our neighbor. (Anyone in need, whose need we can meet) Luke 10:29-37
Gifts: We use the gifts we have received to serve others. 1 Peter 4:10
Encouragement: We encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
