About this MCC church: Holy Covenant MCC is an open and affirming Christian community of faith that has been serving the Chicagoland area since March 30, 1975. We celebrate our call to embody the spirit of hospitality. It is in this spirit that we welcome people of all genders, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages and socio-economic means to participate in the full life and ministry of our church.
We explore our faith in a safe, non-judgmental environment. We celebrate the contributions of Christianity and other faith traditions to our understanding and experience of the Divine, Just, and Creative Presence many call “God.”
The Worship Team nurtures the corporate worship life of our congregation as inspiring, celebratory, and centered on the faithful proclamation of Scripture and communion celebration. We celebrate an open communion, which means you do not have to be a member of Holy Covenant or any other church to participate. Everyone is welcome to the table with whatever beliefs or doubts they may have.
