SECURITY
Personal information provided online and through credit card transactions are transmitted through a secure server. We are committed to handling your personal information with high standards of information security. We take appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of personally identifiable information we collect, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database, as well as employing electronic security systems and password protections that guard against unauthorized access. Our website uses encryption technology, like Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transport. SSL encrypts information such as your name, address, and credit card number. Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting personal or credit card information.
COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
UFMCC may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name. If you register for an event or provide a donation, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the transaction. At the same time we may gather additional personal or nonpersonal information.

This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through UFMCC’s public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
UFMCC encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites and services linked to and from UFMCC so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information. USE OF COOKIES
This MCC Visitor website (at https://visitmccchurch.com), or other services, may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you register with a UFMCC service, a cookie helps to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies, if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the services or websites you visit.
